Seoulmade is rooted in Johanne Næsby Fick’s personal journey from South Korea to Denmark, where a life as an adoptee has planted her with one foot in Nordic simplicity and one in Korean intensity.

Seoulmade began with something as simple as a jar of kimchi – made in a small kitchen in Vesterbro, as a way to rediscover her roots. It quickly evolved into a mission to share the taste of South Korea with the rest of Copenhagen
- and hopefully soon the rest of Denmark.

Today Seoulmade is about more than food: It’s about culture, connections and craftsmanship. It’s about daring to be personal in a world where food is all too often impersonal. About small quantities rather than limitless overproduction.
Transparent, honest and simple craftsmanship in a time where ultra-processed food is taking up more and more space on the shelves.

With a small selection of handcrafted products – from crispy kimchi to spicy chili oil – Seoulmade makes it simple and accessible for everyone to experience the depth, tartness and punch that only authentic Korean food can deliver. Each product is created with love and respect for tradition, combined with an uncompromising approach to quality and taste.
