Behind Seoulmade

My name is Johanne (Korean name Moon Sun Ok)
I was born in Korea but grew up in Denmark and for a big part of my life

Korea felt like a part of me that I didn’t really know how to approach or explore.

A trip to Seoul in 2013 changed this.
 

After many years and more than a decade in the restaurant industry, I’ve finally found the courage to dedicate myself to Seoulmade full-time. Both a very proud and nerve-racking feeling!
 

For me Seoulmade isn’t just about food -  it's about trying to reconnect with my roots.

I’m putting all my energy into sharing the flavors of Seoulmade wherever I can;
pop-ups, workshops, markets, you name it..

I want to give everyone the opportunity to eat flavorful, vibrant unpasteurized kimchi

- and the many other wonderful flavors from Korea.
